Curated along the lines of a fictional story of characters featured in the award winning “Trails of Tan Ah Huat”. While weaving in historical facts and events, let us take you on a journey of emotions as we set the stage for you to delve into the characters we have created. Be immersed in this theatrical tour as we travel to different locations while the storyline progresses. Walk with “Aminah” to hear about her childhood, perceptions and perseverance while staying in Kampong Glam with the aid of multimedia slideshows and storytelling narrated by our guides. History will definitely be made fun and impactful through this experience!

The Red Oil Lamp: Chinatown Stories Alive!

As the sun sets and the flame of the oil lamp gently flickers, the back alleys of Chinatown come alive. The memories of our yesteryears are brought to life through the forgotten stories of a Street Hawker, a Clog Maker, a Majie (domestic helper), a Coolie, a Tailor and a Songstress.
